The Thermage FLX system incorporates vibration on the face and body treatments, which has been shown to provide patient comfort. You will feel a brief heating sensation when the treatment device’s tip touches your skin, followed by a cooling sensation to help protect your skin and minimize any discomfort. Throughout the procedure, your physician will ask for feedback on the level of heat sensation to help balance your comfort with maximum results. Some patients may feel a mild or moderate pain during the treatment. After treatment, your skin may be slightly red, but most people resume regular activities immediately after treatment.
